I haven't given much thought about life after University. It always seems quite daunting as i'm still finding out who i am as an artist. Last year i discovered a love for sculpture and making objects rather than just painting them. I want to further explore and expand my knowledge within sculpture and potentially get involved with some workshops to see where it takes me. I would love to have an industry placement where i can focus on creating art with a hands on approach and possibly shadow another artist. I think it would be very helpful for me to see how an artist in the real world produces work, and see the stages behind the scenes that no one else gets to see. I have always been fascinated by sculpture within the film industry such as SFX, prop making or set designs and it would be a dream to be involved in some way.
